"Experiences with the natural world are at the forefront of artist Vanessa Baird’s practice. Everything from color palette to form is in one way or another a reflection on nature. An interdisciplinary artist, she enjoys working in a variety of mediums including clay, plaster, tea, wood, fabric and yarn."
I will be present to answer questions and light refreshments will be served, come join us!
Hope to see you there!

If you happen to be in the Lake George Village go check out the Caldwell Lake George Library where my work is on display! Pieces starting from 2012 to the present are on display at the library until November. The work being shown ranges from later work consisting of more two dimensional abstract pieces of shapes and lines, leading up to my more current work which uses the abstractness of the earlier two dimensional pieces and then introduces new imaginary characters into the mix, expressed in both three and two dimensional works.
If you are able to go see the display leave me a comment letting me know what you thought of it! I appreciate the feedback, it helps me to learn and grow my artwork!
Hours for the library can be found on their website at www.lakegeorgelibrary.blogspot.com/
